What we collect

When you use our free apartment-search service, we collect information you provide voluntarily: name, email, phone number, target metro, budget, screening issue (bad credit, eviction, broken lease, criminal record, bankruptcy, no credit history), and any additional context you give us. We also collect analytics data automatically — pages viewed, referring source, general geographic region, and device type.

How we use your information

We use your information to match you with Texas apartment communities that will approve your screening profile. We may share your information with communities you ask us to submit an application to. We do not sell your data. We do not perform hard credit inquiries. We only pull soft signals (score range you provide, history you describe) to do the matching.

How we make money

Apartment communities pay us a referral fee when a renter we refer signs a lease. This is why the service is free to you. We only get paid when you successfully move in.

Data sharing

We share your information with: the specific apartment communities you ask us to submit to; third-party guarantor providers (Insurent, TheGuarantors, Jetty, Cosign) only if you request a guarantor path; service providers we use to run our site (email, analytics, form processing). We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers.
